Choose the qualification before the question bank.
A student preparing for a first solo flight has different study needs from a pilot working toward a commercial licence. Start with the official study guide for your examination. Use its subject headings to plan your reading, then revisit a concept with an interactive activity and explain it in your own words.
Ground School 3D is a supplemental study resource in development. Its Canadian paths cover selected topics and are awaiting instructor review. It does not currently award approved ground-school hours, issue examination recommendations or endorsements, or guarantee complete exam coverage.
SPL, PPL and CPL: the country matters.
PPL is commonly used for a Private Pilot Licence and CPL for a Commercial Pilot Licence. Canada uses those licence names; the United States uses private and commercial pilot certificates. The knowledge requirements, exams and eligibility rules belong to the relevant aviation authority.
Searching for SPL ground school? That abbreviation is used differently across countries and searches. In Canada, look for the Student Pilot Permit and PSTAR. In the United States, distinguish a student pilot certificate from a sport pilot certificate. Choose a country below before assuming a course matches your needs.
